In Term 1 Year 13 Agribusiness students study the need for Strategic Capital Investment. We have already had speakers in to talk about this. Bernard Lynch from Rabobank and Hamish Sutherland from Zeagold. This week students went to an on-site meeting at Scott Technology. We met with Jeff Satterthwaite to hear about the need for the new building that we have all watched with interest as it evolves in Kaikorai Valley Road. Jeff outlined some of the company’s history and it's recent growth. While the trip aimed to hear about financial matter they were also interested what Scott Technology did – so a tour around the factory and design areas was very interesting. So much innovation to see in a long-term Dunedin business.
