This year, celebrations were put on hold due to safety precautions under Level 2. However, once we were able to celebrate we had a great time.

Year 9s were encouraged to dress up for the big event and we saw some great costumes this year in the theme of a topsy-turvy world! 

We learnt about the Carnival celebrations in immersion French and celebrated the Mardi Gras - fat Tuesday - by eating crêpes. This is all part of the Year 9 language task: asking for things I want. And we certainly wanted to eat crêpes! Each student got to try different toppings with the mini crêpe-maker! The crowd favourite was speculoos! Délicieux!
