The Otago Junior LC Championships and the Otago Senior LC Carnival were held in Dunedin this past weekend.

This was the premiere competition for juniors in Otago, and for the seniors, it was a good opportunity for some race practice before the national meets start later in the year. Columba had four junior swimmers competing who all gained incredible results:

Méabh  - 10 and under girls

100 free - 5th
50 breast - 2nd
50 back - 6th
100 breast - 1st
50 free - 4th

Eivi - 10 and under girls

Olivia and Emma also competed in the Senior Carnival which was a really good chance for them to see where they were tracking leading into the upcoming events. Well done, everyone.
