Calling for auditions: Sunday 28th February

We are pleased to announce Denise Henderson as the Director for this year's school show; we look forward to working with Denise to put on an amazing act.  

Auditions are open to Years 7-13. They will be held on Sunday the 28th February from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Hall. Students should prepare a song that demonstrates their ability and is similar in style to 'High School Musical' and should bring their backing track. Dancers will be required to perform a sequence of dance moves to showcase their skills. 

Students should bring food and drink, as well as warm clothes in case the weather turns. It is also advisable to bring a laptop and/or books so that there is something to do while waiting. 

Please remember - the musical requires commitment and rehearsals will be held regularly on Sundays as well as Wednesdays after school. We ask that you consider this before coming to the audition.

Girls who secured a part last year should know that they may re-audition if they would like to be considered for a bigger part this year. They will not lose the role secured in 2020 unless they choose to give it up in preference of a different role. 

We are still on the look out for male actors Year 9-13. If you know of any please contact Mrs Casbolt scasbolt@columbacollege.school.nz to set up an audition time. If you are unable to make Sunday's time due to a prior commitment, please get in touch with Mrs Casbolt as soon as possible.
