The Year 0-1 class has been inventing chairs for our Teddy Bears using recycled materials.

We had to consider a good base, sides, leg length as well as balance, strength, size, and special effects. Some soft toy chairs included ladders, slides, cup holders, roof shades, remote controls, and lights. We also explored creating chairs with lego, soft blocks, straws and wooden blocks. Some chairs held the teddy bears with ease, others were too small or tipped over, but the more unique chair designs we created, the more we succeeded. 

The Year 0-1 students are very proud of their chairs … and their toys love them too!
