Our annual Sports Awards Evening was held on Thursday 25 October in the Marsh Sports Centre. Special thank you to our guest speaker - Silver Fern, Gina Crampton and congratulations to all who received awards.

This year has proven to be a tremendous one for our students. The girls have excelled not only as athletes but have further displayed incredible talent both on and off the field as coaches and officials within their chosen codes. They are acknowledged for their dedication, commitment and leadership throughout the year in their chosen codes.  We recognised effort and achievement throughout the schools sporting arena, along with acknowledging individual success and rewarding the excellence shown by our students at both regional and national levels.

Special awards were also given out on the night and this year we designed special ties for students who get selected to represent our country in their chosen field. It is a huge honour to wear the silver fern and these students are the pinnacle of the elite in their age groups, as a school, we couldn't be more proud and believe that wearing a prestigious tie will help identify their talents and have other students aspiring to reach these levels. 

We were also spoilt to amazing performances by year 10 Jorja Dinan and her beautiful singing voice as well as year 9 Jo O'Halloran with a polished aerobics routine. Overall an enjoyable night was had by all and we look forward to 2019.
