Last Wednesday afternoon, the Year 0-5 students buddied up for Safe Walking around our local streets.

The older pupils explained to the younger children how to cross the road safely, watch out for sneaky driveways and to be ready for potential hazards on and near the roads. We even came across some ducks at the park and stopped for creative play with lawn clippings, sticks and leaves. It was lovely to listen to the older and younger children in meaningful conversation and building stronger relationships across the different age levels.
