Handball at Columba has been running for three seasons now, with an impressive five teams representing the school across Years 9 - 13.

These teams compete in the weekly Wednesday-night Otago Schools competition. Columba currently has three Otago representatives, and three New Zealand representatives.

Handball is a super fun sport that involves a range of skills from a variety of different sports such as basketball, water polo, and netball. The game is a fantastic way to make new friends, have a great time, excel and grow skills that can be used in a number of other sports. Handball also offers students some amazing opportunities, including tournament play, and for those select few, the chance to represent your region or country.
