Year 11 French class have a genuine love of cooking. So much so they opted to watch the French reality cooking show Top Chef. We have started up the tradition of baking for the class regularly, and our Year 11 students won the French cake baking competition at French camp.
Keren, Raheli, Alyssa, and Lois were all co-creators of the award winning "piquenique" cake. Raheli was also the first to bake a beautiful and very délicieux tarte tartin for class recently. Dark and sticky caramel, sweet apples and crisp pastry combine to make this heavenly French dessert. If you have not tried it we highly recommend it. Next week, we will have Keren student bake for us.
