Columba students awarded certificates in DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française)

Congratulations to all Columba students that passed the 2021 DELF examination. A fantastic feat! The examination took place on Saturday the 30th of October.

Students involved :  

B1 Penelope Hare, Gemma O' Donnell, Allegra Huband-Watson and Samantha Mills 

A2 Emma McDonald, Sienna Baker, Holly McRae, Erica Su and Mabel Lee.

A1 Clara Ballantyne, Natalie McDonald, Poppy Edmond, Laura Moore, Grace Dong, Pippa Trotman and Cailyn Dey

Both Year 12 Sophia Bowmar and Year 11 Bridgette Sutton were unable to make the rescheduled date. 

DELF is a certification of French-language abilities for non-native speakers of French administered by the International Centre for French Studies for France's Ministry of Education. The examination tests reading and listening comprehension as well as speaking and writing production.The certificate is internationally recognised and a great addition to a CV. The certificate is also valid for life up to B1 level. 

If/when possible, a croissant lunch will be held to celebrate student achievement.
