Our junior teams have wrapped up a great season. 

Year 3-6 Junior

Our Year 3 & 4 students have gained a good understanding of the game this season. Thank you to Mia Neville and Grace Brosnahan for coaching the team and fantastic support from Ms Jo Hurst as team manager. 

Our Year 5 & 6 team also performed well and had lots of fun, thank you to coaches Holly Haig and Katerina Thompson and Mrs Pen Edmond for your support and communication to the team.

Year 7 & 8 Hockey

Intermediate hockey had a fantastic season, with a high number of students signing up to play.

Our Columba Doves team was made up of experienced Year 8 and a few Year 7 students. They won the majority of their games only losing to the top placed intermediate schools in the grade. Thank you to Mr Anthony Lobb for coaching the team and also to Ms Hope for managing. 

Our Columba Navy had a majority of Year 7 students with a few Year 8’s. Some of the players had prior experience at a junior level and some were taking up hockey for the first time. The team made a huge improvement over the season and it was enjoyable to watch the progress they made. Thank you to coaches Holly Freidlander, Ella Heffernan and ex-pupil Lydia Shirley for the time and effort put into the team this season.
