Weekly Wellbeing: The Inevitable Return to Normality

Miss Millie George —

A message from your Wellbeing Prefect.

The end is finally in sight!

With the best luck, we will be out of lockdown within the next week or two and, though the extra sleep and downtime has been appreciated, it is time to prepare for our old routines.

After being in a lockdown, it may be hard to prepare for the early starts and the general act of going to school, but just remember, you will be able to see your friends, get out of the house and get back to your everyday life, too! The positives of getting back into everyday life far outweigh any negatives.

In order to make the transition from home-life to school easier, try and gradually get up earlier in the mornings so the alarm isn’t such a shock when the day arrives, assure you are up-to-date with work in your classes so stress is not piled up when you return and, again, stay positive!

The end of this year is in sight, and in no time at all, we’ll be finished, enjoying the sun and spending time with the ones we love. So, particularly to our Year 13s, just appreciate getting back into school and being able to spend time with one another before the year concludes.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
