This term, we are happy to welcome three new international students to Columba College. All of the girls have started to settle into life in New Zealand, their studies, and making friends.

Hailey Tsang – Hailey is a Year 9 student who was studying at Middle School in Hong Kong. Hailey enjoys volleyball, skateboarding and watching anime. She is looking forward to making friends, improving her English, and traveling to different parts of New Zealand.

Betty Liu – Betty is a Year 7 student from Shenyang in Liaoning Province in the north of China. Her favourite hobbies are playing the piano and playing badminton. Betty is looking forward to making friends with her peers and going skiing in Queenstown.

Guoguo Yang – Guoguo is a Year 7 student who comes from Guangzhou, which is located in southern China. She enjoys playing the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument. Guoguo is looking forward to making lots of new friends and studying hard.
