Mardi Gras or 'Fat' Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday is celebrated worldwide.

The idea is to eat as much sugary, fatty food as possible during the period of Carnival before Lent. This year on Tuesday 13 February, French students got on board celebrating by dressing up, parading, flipping crepes and eating them of course! What did the students think if all of this? well...maim miam!
