Year 5 students bake up a storm.

Sophie Butson, Samantha Mundy, Devon Skevington and Isabella van Aart from Year 5 came up with the idea to have a bake sale to raise funds for the Children’s Pavilion at Dunedin Hospital. They took their plans to Mrs Hogg who was very happy to support this student led initiative.

On Monday the 22nd of June, they came to school all ready with beautiful cookies, cupcakes and brownies which had been made over the weekend.

They raised a wonderful total of $210.80 cents for this very worthwhile cause.

A big thank you to the girls and their parents for supporting them.

Also a special thank you to Mrs Corkhill for making her famous gluten-free brownies to contribute to their stall.
