Having auditioned earlier in the year, Skyla Murray (year 9), has recently been offered a place in the NZSO National Youth Orchestra.  The orchestra is aimed at, “the country’s most gifted young orchestral performers aged 25 years and under.

The NYO are celebrating their 60th year this year and will perform at both the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington and Auckland Town Hall.  At only 13 years old, Skyla will probably be the youngest member of the orchestra, and this will be an amazing experience for her.
