French Film Festival Fun

Miss Gardiner —

The annual French Film Festival was cut short this year but Columba Students still got involved.

Students were invited to see the film Dilili à Paris a popular animation film set in Paris. The young Kanak heroine Dilili sets about rescuing kidnapped girls from the evil Master Men. The film is set in the Belle Epoque in France and Dilili runs into all sorts of famous French inventors and artists on her adventure.

Students from various schools in Dunedin were invited and afterwards we meet at the Alliance Française for some pizza, a monument sculpture competition in Rodin's honour and we played the fish bowl game to learn about famous french people and monuments.

All in all a great successful day out.
