MUSEUM OF ME
This year we tried a different activity to start the year off in 12To English. The idea for 'Museum of Me' is borrowed from 'flow' magazine, a beautiful publication that originates in Holland and has been available in English, French, German and Dutch editions.
Eri Lovegrove, Melissa Van der Haegen, Rosie Davison and Zoe Revell-Lynch have all agreed to let you enjoy the beautifully written and presented work they did for this assignment. The attached work is a sample and, as a teacher, receiving the work of all of the students who completed this task was a treat and a joy.
Students were asked to identify objects in their houses that have a story for their own mini exhibit of themselves. They then curated their pieces, adding photos, numbering them and thinking of headings to go in bold that did not simply name the object.
Unfortunately, in this last year, the editors of 'flow' (Astrid and Irene) have had to let go of the English edition, making some content available online only.
