The Equestrian team at Columba College is a friendly and competitive team of great riders.

We attend competitions throughout the year, including the interschools competition held in Palmerston. In 2018 Columba gained 2nd place overall, and went one step further in 2019 Columba, taking out 1st place. The riders also achieved some impressive individual placings in phases such as dressage, jumping, and team placing in fancy dress and turnout. We also travelled to Gore for interschools show jumping where many of the riders gained placings throughout the day. It is a great, fun-filled and supportive environment at competitions and we all have a lot of fun! We are fortunate to have a fantastic group of dedicated parents, supporters, and a great team which helps to make the days run smoothly. Most importantly, everyone involved in Equestrian at Columba College is positively supported, and there is always somebody willing to help. The Equestrian programme provides a fun team environment while upholding Columba’s values of grace.
