The Otago Primary and Intermediate School’s Cross Country Championships was held in very wintry conditions on Friday 1 September. The course was tough, very muddy and all races were run at a very fast pace.

Our students competed to a very high standard and well done to the following student who placed in the top half of their respective races:

Year 6 girls - Caitlin Butson 5th and Ryan Dailey 11th and Alexis Phipps 23rd

Year 6 boys – Alex Piebenga 24th

Year 7 girls – Catherine Lund 3rd, Ella Hou 5th, Emily Ung 24th and Laura Sammut 25th

Year 8 girls – Jaime Reid 4th and Anika Itadani 7th.
