On Monday, all Junior School classes enjoyed the opportunity to have a golf session with coach Melanie Harper from Balmacewen Golf Club.

First, Melanie taught us a golf swing using flags. We had a school hand and a roadside hand. She taught us how to pick up our club and finger lock. Then we got to hit!

Melanie’s step-by-step instructions guided us to swing the golf club and hit a big dodgeball, a tennis ball, and a small light rubber golf ball.

The more swings we had, the better our aim and distance.

Three more sessions are on the calendar for this term.
