St Columba Day Celebrations

Each year, we celebrate St Columba Day and reflect on the history of the school and the value of community.

Three excellent schools – Girton, Braemar and Archerfield – combined in 1915 to form something even greater: Columba College.

A special Chapel is held and a cake is cut by our longest attending student and our newest student.

Following the Chapel, every student receives a bookmark and a piece of chocolate cake.

We also hold our annual St Columba Day Service at First Church. This service is a lovely opportunity to gather as a school community in recognition of our Special Character.
