Crossing Ceremony

The Crossing Ceremony is aimed at making the transition a celebration and recognition that the Year 6 students are about to start a new stage in their education. This ceremony takes place in Term 4. 

What will happen:

The Year 6 girls cross the road and are greeted by ‘big sisters’ from Year 7.  

They will then be taken to the Year 7 class to spend time becoming familiar with the area they will be based in next year.

The Year 6 boys cross the road and are met by two of our senior teachers who will spend time with the boys in the Girton block.
