Last weekend, Columba College had amazing results at the 2022 Aerobics Nationals. This National event took place in Invercargill on the 17th and 18th of September at the ILT Stadium. Columba had 17 competitors showcasing their routines throughout the weekend and many medals and high placing were gained.

Equestrian is one of our many sports on offer at Columba College, and the school had a team of talented riders compete at a local event in Palmerston recently.

The Junior School gets their own worm farm

On Friday, 16th September, 2022 the annual Columba College Golf tournament was held at stunning St. Clair golf course, and a superb day of community connection and contribution was experienced by all involved. The Columba Sports Council would like to extend a huge amount of thanks and appreciation to the community for supporting this fundraising event.

Columba College continues to shine on the Volleyball court, with three senior Columba students representing Otago at the Lower South Island Volleyball tournament recently.

Last weekend, on the 17th and 18th of September, some of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award students went cross country skiing at the snow farm in Wanaka.

Kayla Millar, Year 12, has been recognised as one of New Zealand’s future leaders winning a $250 dollar scholarship from all her dedication both inside and outside of the classroom.

To celebrate the 2022 Middle Autumn Festival (Moon Festival) and Chinese Language week from 25th September to 1st October 2022, there are numerous activities arranged at Columba College.

Year 11 Geography students are investigating whether land use on the Taieri Plains, and at Macraes Flat, is sustainable.
