As we come to the end of an 11 week term, I look back at all that has happened in this short space of time in the College and I am truely amazed. The highlight for me was the Fair last Saturday, our first since 2019. We are really grateful to the Parents Association, volunteers, staff and students who made this day such a success, as well as to the wider community for your support. For more about the fair, including the grand sum raised, please see the fair article.

On Monday we joined together with the Year 1 and 2 class for a fun STEM Lego Challenge, (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). We heard the tale of “The Three Billy Goats Gruff” and thought about how to cross the river safely. We came up with ideas like swimming and jumping over rocks or fallen trees. But we decided a zip line over the river would be a super cool and troll-proof plan! Our job was to build a Lego creation that could zip down the line without breaking or going too fast. Here are some photos of our designs and our creations in action, zipping down the line!
Mr A Sparrow
Columba College is still in need of a number of netball coaches for this coming winter season. Whether you think you have the necessary experience and skills to give netball coaching a try this year or not, we would love to hear from you!

What a fabulous day was had by all at what almost felt like our inaugural Columba College Fair on Saturday. It was fantastic to see the college campus a-buzz, after a five year hiatus, with bargains, entertainment, stalls, activities and food galore. Even the weather was on our side.
