Whānau Hui for Columba College community

It was with huge pleasure that we welcomed Māori whānau and their daughters to our first ever Whānau Hui last Thursday.
Kapa haka, sang a welcoming waiata and then Matua Price welcomed everyone with his whaikōreo. This concluded with the kapa haka, the board and teaching staff singing another beautiful waiata in support.
We shared introductions/nga mihi and then Mrs Charissa Nicol lead discussions about ways College and whānau might best work together to support our Māori akonga in the future.
