Book Week- save the date!

The annual Columba College celebration of all things book related is just around the corner.

The Columba College library is quite literally in the heart of the school and is one place that every single student will pass through at some time in the school week. With falling literacy rates in the news so often, it is really great to know that our little library issued as many books in Term 1 2024 as another Dunedin school (with a roll of nearly 900) issued in all of 2023!
I think that is worth celebrating!
Book Week will be held in week three of next term (Monday 13- Friday 17 May) and will be action packed. Stay tuned for:
- Fictional character dress up day
- Bookmark competition
- Quiz in the library
- Scavenger hunt
- A visit from a world renowned author
- New books
- And so much more!
