Students who are currently in Years 10, 11 or 12 need to complete their 2022 Course selection via the KAMAR student portal.

Yesterday was the Spring Equinox. There are a lot of great things about spring: the mornings and evenings get lighter, it gets warmer, flowers bloom. There are also some things that are a bit messy: the weather can be changeable and the rain makes the ground muddy. There is a lot to be grateful for, and a few things can be frustrating.

The Year 6 class have been celebrating the joy spring brings.

A group of Year 9 and 10 Columba College Multisport athletes took part in their first ever Get2Go challenge last week - successfully undertaking the challenges of kayaking, mountain biking and orienteering.

When Isabella's tour of Scotland's finest Presbyterian schools was cancelled due to Covid, she was given the option to tour New Zealand's top colleges instead. Isabella was thrilled to have the opportunity to come to Columba and spend some time shadowing Head Girl, Rosie Auchinvole.

In Week One of Term 4 we have our Practice Examinations. The timetable has now been released to students and is attached.

After another great season of netball for our Columba teams, the timing of Lockdown #2 was rather unfortunate with a number of teams heading into the semis and finals for their respective grades. Overall placings have been released by Dunedin Netball based on where teams were sitting on the table when the season came to an early and rather abrupt end.

Mrs Graves' Year 9 took to the Birdbath Lawn on Friday in Period 6 to look at the world through prisms and learn about refraction in action. Some students took the opportunity to use the prisms to capture some beautiful photographs of spring flowers too!

Year 3 have had a very special time with their brand new construction materials.

Several of our students who participated in this prestigious Mathematics competition performed highly.

Congratulations to Madison Sullivan and Jorja Dinan who have recently been named in the Otago U19 Girls rugby team.

As with last year, our efforts to organise this weekend were stymied somewhat by Covid restrictions.
