Spotlight on Year 10 Digital Media

Year 10 Digital Media looks at developing the students creativity and flair in a variety of digital media. The first project was to write, design and produce a children's storybook. Over the next few weeks, we will spotlight each author and the final outcome.

Grace will be competing in both the Public Speaking and Speech and Drama categories.

Swimmers Shine in Pool

The NZ Secondary Schools Championships were held in Hamilton over the weekend of 28-31July 2022. Columba College had two students swimming at this event who achieved some incredibly strong results against competitors from all over the Country.

Columba Skaters continue to dazzle on the ice

Columba College is extremely proud of a group of ice skating students who have achieved some amazing results recently. Over the weekend of 30th July, the Dunedin Ice Skating Championships were held and performances from three amazing Columba ice skaters gained them selection for the NZ National Figure Skating Competition later in the year!

Junior School Netball Programme running strong

A new initiative this year for our youngest netball players is proving very popular and an effective way to introduce our junior students to the basic skills of netball early on in their developmental pathway.

Columba College's first intermediate Hip Hop Crew competed at the Otago/Southland Regional Championships held in Invercargill over the weekend and took out first place in the small crew school category - AMAZING!!
