The Senior Madrigal choir Cantus Columba will be competing in the 2022 Big Sing at Knox Church on Monday 13th June.

Brave runners took on bitter conditions and an extremely boggy track in the Otago Cross Country Championships held at Kaikorai Valley College yesterday.

It was a joy to be able to donate another 12 hand-knitted blankets to Presbyterian Support Otago. These will be given to people needing some extra warmth this winter.

The Year Six class have been busy learning about the process of the scientific method. First, the students discovered by trial and error how to get a balloon car to travel the furthest. The students used toilet rolls, skewers, straws, balloons, cardboard, and tape to construct their Balloon Cars.

Our annual Columba College Swimming Sports is scheduled for Thursday 23rd June 2022, at Moana Pool. Unfortunately, it cannot be run as we would like due to the nature of our current environment with all the illnesses still present. Therefore this event will be in a modified format similar to athletics day this year and students not competing will have a normal school day. We look forward to returning to our old structure in 2023.

With a brand new region to explore and innovative businesses on the menu, the Year 13 Agribusiness class set out to explore one of New Zealand's most under-rated areas.

In digital technology, the Junior School have had a focus on coding and what that means as a computer scientist.
