Greetings from Your School Counsellors!
Ms M Milne and Ms N Hall — April 5, 2023
Hello! We wanted to introduce ourselves. We are your Columba Counselling team.
We both come with a wealth of experience and training in child and adolescent counselling and mental health. We are keen to support the wellbeing of our students.
Parenting can be a mind field as we navigate our children’s rapid changes and growth. Sometimes it’s hard to know what is normal and what is a concern.
Red flags you might notice in your child are:
- A change in their normal personality
- Isolating themselves from friends and family
- Irritable
- Issues with eating and/or sleeping
- Loss of interest in things they used to enjoy
You are welcome to get in touch with us to discuss your concerns and what supports might be needed. We welcome referrals from parents as long as the young person is also agreeable to the referral.
We are available during term time only:
Neresa Hall: Thursday and Friday 9:00am - 2:00pm
Mary Milne: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm
