A massive congratulations to our SGCNZ Shakespeare (Shelia Winn) kaiwhakahaere o nga whakaari and their kaiwhakaari.

Four teams comprising 40 students from Years 7-13, and six student directors, as well as two very, very cool guitarists Emily and Aoife, did Columba proud at the Regional Festival. Our student directors: Zoe, Brie, Tylah, Pippa, Raheli, and Lois and their teams put in some very, very long hours into the Festival whilst juggling school work, extra curricular, sport, and service.

Zoe and Brie put a hilarious spin on Much Ado About Nothing by setting it on Love Island. Tylah's A Midsummer Night's Dream took us back...to the '80s. Pippa's Macbeth bubbled, toiled, and troubled with supernatural 7s and 8s, whilst Raheli's and Lois's interpretation of the 'M' play took on a punk-goth-guitar atmosphere.
