Wow! What a magical day Thursday 21st November was for the Year 0-1 class. The children set off from Columba with their teddy bears for a day of surprises, adventure and endless fun.

On November 1st, the Mana Pounamu Young Achievers Awards were held at the Dunedin College of Education.

On the 19th of November, our crew of Sophie Bowmar, Annabelle Kelly, Mia Bohm and myself made an early start to the Rock and Pillar range near Middlemarch.

The Otago 'Junior' Secondary School Volleyball Championships were held last Friday and Saturday, at the Edgar Centre. Both Columba’s Junior A and B teams competed in this event.

Held by the New Zealand Police to thank the Year 7 and 8's that have been working the Kea Crossing.

Over the weekend the girls raced in the Otago Rowing Club and North End Rowing Club regattas at Lake Waihola.

We welcomed the 2018 Distinguished Alumna, Ms Skye Duncan, to the College on Monday 18 November.

On Wednesday 20th November the year 6 girls took part in the crossing over ceremony. They enjoyed sharing morning tea with the year 7 students in the Middle School.

An event run by Otago Secondary School Sports Association. Targeting the fun and enjoyment factor of participating in sport 5 days of sporting options are played at various venues around Dunedin.

The Junior School Kapa Haka group shared their first performance on Wednesday.

Recently four Y8 students’ works were chosen as winners in the EXTRA Writing Competition.
