Columba Win QUAD Tournament!

Back to back outright victories for Columba College after sharing the shield in both 2016 and 2017. The past two years have seen Columba prevail on top as winners of the annual winter Quadrangular inter-school against Craighead, St Hilda's and St Margaret's.

12th New Zealand Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competition

The final of the "12th New Zealand Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competition" was held in Christchurch on Sunday 4th August 2019. Joelle Gatenby, Year 13, represented South Island senior students and participated in the final. At the competition, Joelle delivered a three minute speech in Chinese without the use of cue cards, answered questions about her speech and performed a Chinese Fan Dance. As a result, Joelle received an "Outstanding Performance” prize. Well done and congratulations Joelle!

Golf Fundraising Tournament 2019

It's that time of the year again... Our annual Sports Council Golf Day Fundraiser is right around the corner and looks set to be the best one yet!! Held at St Clair Golf Course on Friday 13th September. 11am Tee off, BBQ and beverages on course, followed by prize-giving, auction, raffles and nibbles from 5pm in the clubrooms.

Dunedin Schools' Debating Senior Final Victory

On the 7th of August the semi-final and final of Dunedin Schools Debating was held at Otago Boys' High School. Two of the four breaking teams were from Columba, and a Columba-Columba final was on the cards.
