Year 5 and 6 trip to the Portobello Marine Studies Centre

On Thursday the children in Year 5 and 6 boarded the bus at 8.40am to head down to the Portobello Marine Studies Centre to participate in the “Suckers and Tentacles” programme. This related to our current Science Living World topic perfectly as the children had been exploring the concept of evolution through our particular focus on molluscs, especially the octopus and squid.
