Year 5-6 Zone Swimming Sports

A big ' H 2 GOOOO..' to 'ALL' our swimmers who swam 'Like Fish' and lived the Cotswold Matahae Values in and out of the water.  You can all be proud of your efforts in heats and in final races.  Special Congratulations to Hayley Quantock - 3rd in the Yr 6 Girls Breaststroke and in doing so will move on to the CPSSA Swimming Finals. 

Congratulations also to our Yr 5 Relay Team (Jennifer Irvine, Hayden Moriarty, Cassie Hedgcock and David Noon) for their 3rd placing.  A big thank you to Miss Bigwood for her early morning training sessions and the parents who supported the team on the day.

CJCA Year 5 – 6 Cricket Super Star Cricket Finals

On Friday 17th March the Cotswold Mātāhae girls cricket team headed to Hagley Park for an all girl cricket finals tournament. They played some amazing cricket and finished a very competitive 3rd on the day. It was pleasing to see the huge improvement in cricketing skills and efforts throughout the season.  

You can be very proud of your achievements. I can’t wait to see some of you returning next year to represent the school.

A special thanks to the parents/ caregivers that supported the team with transport, sideline coaching and throw downs and Mr Guthrie with organising the event.

Year 5/6 Winter Hagley Sport

Just a reminder to sign up for Hagley Winter Sport via the Hero App for Year 5/6 Hagley Winter Sport.

Remember to sign up via the link on the Hero App so you can be added to a team.

Buses will be used to transport to/from venues, and cost this cost will be charged to parents/caregivers via Hero. As always we will require parent supervision and coaching for Hagley Sport to continue in the future. If you can assist please email: peter.harper@cotswold.school.nz  

Year 3 - 6 Future Ferns Netball (Term 2/3)

Team lists for Year 3 and 4 Teams, and uniforms will be issued to players in the coming weeks.

Subs of $70 have been added to your child's Hero Account.  Please arrange payment by the due date of 31st March.

Year 5/6 YMCA Basketball (Term 2/3)

Cotswold will be registering 4x teams with the YMCA for Term 2/3 Basketball.  Team lists and uniforms will be issued to players in the coming weeks.

Subs will be $75 have been added to your child's Hero Account.   Please arrange payment by the due date of 31st March.

Uniform Returns 

Please return your sports uniforms (Touch Rugby, Summer Hockey, Year 5/6 Hagley, Basketball Singlets and Girls Cricket Uniforms) to Room 25 clean and washed and clean to Room 25 by the end of Term (or after your final game).
