COTSWOLD GIRLS 1ST VIII CREATE HISTORY – CJCA SUPER STAR GIRLS CRICKET FINALS
Special Congratulations Cotswold Girls 1st VIII (A Grade) and 2nd VII (B Grade) Cricket teams who represented Cotswold School in their respective grades in this years CJCA Super Star Girls Cricket finals. A big ‘HOWZ ZAT 1’ to the girls 1st VIII who bowled us over and became the first Cotswold Girls Cricket Team to win the girls ‘A Grade’ competition and be crowned champion. Previously this competition has been dominated by St Albans and Paparoa Street Schools.
Special thanks to Coach Guthrie and the parents and staff who provided positive support during the season.
Yr 5-6 ZONE RIPPA TOURNAMENT
A big ÝOU LITTLE RIPPAS' to the Cotswold Blues Rippa team who finished 2nd in the Zone Rippa Tournament on Monday 12th April.
Special thanks to Coaches Green, Coach Delaney and parents who supported the team.
YEAR 4-6 SENIOR DUATHLON
Well done to all Year 4, 5 and 6s for your efforts in the Duathlon. It was fantastic seeing you giving your all. It was great to see family and friends of the Cotswold community supporting this event. Thank you to the parents and teachers who helped with the running of this event.

CPSSA YEAR 5-6 Triathlon
A big 'THUMBS UP' to all our Triathletes who put on their smiles and wore the Cotswold ‘Blue White and Black’ with pride in the CPSSA Triathlon at South Eyre Road. It was great to see you giving your all.
Special Congratulations to Jack Quilatan, who finished 8th in the Year 6 Boys Event. A big THANKS to our parent helpers.

CPSSA YEAR 5-6 SUMMER SPORT AT HAGLEY PARK
Congratulations to all our Futsal, Teeball and Touch Rugby Teams who have been participating in the Friday Weekly Summer Sport at Hagley Park. It was great to see your positive efforts on and off the field.
A number of Cotswold Teams are well placed for top 3 placings. Results will be published in the next newsletter.

YEAR 3-4 CHECKERS MINI BASKETBALLERS
Nice Going to the Cotswold Cubs, Chooks, Chimps, Coyotes, Crocs and Crows who participated with passion on Thursday at the Bishopdale YMCA in the Checkers Year 3-4 Mini Baskeball Competition. We look forward to seeing you all back when the competition commences in Term 4.

NUNWEEK TOUCH
A big ‘Hi 5’ to the Cotswold Pacers and their Coaching Staff – Luke Gainsford and his support crew. The team dodged and touched their way to 1st place in the Yr 5-6 Boys Grade.
We are proud of all our Touch teams and are grateful for our coaches. We hope to see you all back next season.

Back by popular demand….Year 2–6 Bullrush. A consent form for Bullrush is available online via the link on our website.
Girls and boys who are interested in taking part in the Tuesday lunchtime Bullrush sessions need to register online – Cotswold Website – Sport. For more information see Mr Guthrie or Mr Harper.

MOTHER EARTH FUTURE FERNS (Yr 1 & 2) & NETTABURY (Under 5) 2021
The Mother Earth Future Ferns Years 1 & 2 programme is held at several venues around Christchurch.

YEAR 5-6 CPSSA HAGLEY WINTER SPORT
Thank you to the children who have signed up for this competition. Some team spots are full.
Special thanks to parents and staff who are coaching and managing our teams. Thanks also to the parents who are providing transport. At this stage it looks like we will be travelling to some venues by car and the remaining venues by bus (at a cost to the parents)
There will be a cost charged to those students involved in this competition who will be using the bus. The cost is yet to be finalised, invoices will be sent out at the start of Term 2.
We still require extra coaches (Hockey, Netball, Football and Rugby) and transport. Please contact Mr Harper – peter.harper@cotswold.school.nz if you can help in this area.
