CPSSA YEAR 5-6 DUATHLON
A big 'THUMBS UP' to all our Duathletes who put on their wet tyres and braved the rain and chilly conditions in the CPSSA Duathlon at Ruapuna. It was great to see you giving your all. Special congratulations to Heath Blackbourn, who finished 5th in the Yr 5 Boys Event and Olivia Musson, 17th in the Yr 6 Girls Event. A big THANKS to our parent helpers.
NORTH-WEST ZONE SWIMMING SPORTS

CPSSA YEAR 5-6 SUMMER SPORT AT HAGLEY PARK
Congratulations to all our Futsal, Ultimate Frisbee, Teeball and Rippa Rugby teams who have been participating in the Friday Weekly Summer Sport at Hagley Park.
It was great to see your positive efforts on and off the field.

YEAR 5-6 GIRLS SUPER STAR CRICKET
Well done to all the girls involved in the Super Star Cricket Competition this term. It was the first time playing cricket for most squad members and it was great to see improvement throughout the season. A big ‘HOWZAT 1’ and congratulations to Cotswold A for making it to the play-offs of this competition. The girls can be very proud of their 6th placing. Thank you to the coaching staff and parent support.
YEAR 3-4 MINI BASKETBALLERS
Nice Going to the Cotswold Cubs, Crabs, Chimps, Coyotes and Crows who participated with passion on Thursday at the Bishopdale YMCA in the Checkers Year 3-4 Mini Basketball Competition. We look forward to seeing you all back when the competition commences in Term Four. Thank you to our coaching staff.
NUNWEEK TOUCH
A big ‘Hi 5’ to the Cotswold Warriors and Touchdowns and their Coaching Staff – Bryan and Tracy Hickling, Charles Haywood and Grant McLennan. The teams dodged and touched their way to 2nd placing in the Yr5-6 Competitive Grade and 1st in the Yr 5-6 Social grade respectively.

MOTHER EARTH FUTURE FERNS Yr 1 & 2 - 2019
The Mother Earth futureFERNS Years 1 & 2 programme is held at several venues around Christchurch.
The focus for this age group is on exploring netball and the development of fundamental movement and ball skills. The session will include skill development led by a FUTURE FERNS Coach, followed by a game of 4 v 4 netball.

Sumner Programme: Runs May-July (excluding Queens Birthday weekend) 3.30-4.30pm at Sumner School

YEAR 5-6 CPSSA HAGLEY WINTER SPORT
Thank you to the children (90-100ish) who have signed up for this competition. Team spots are full. Special thanks to parents and staff that are coaching and managing our teams. Thanks also to the parents who are providing transport. We still require extra coaches(Hockey, Netball, Football, Tabletennis and Rugby) and transport. BRING BACK BULLRUSH
Back by popular demand….Year 2–6 Bullrush. A consent form for Bullrush will be issued during week 11. Girls and boys who are interested in taking part in the Tuesday lunchtime Bullrush sessions need to register online – Cotswold Website – Sport. For more information see Mr Guthrie or Mr Harper.
