I hope you have had an enjoyable holiday with whanau and have your children prepared for an action packed year ahead at Cotswold Mātāhae School.
Like many of your tamariki, I am excited about getting stuck into learning all about our school and how we operate. I am excited about meeting the staff, and getting to know them well. I am very much looking forward to meeting the learners across Term 1, spending some time with them in our classrooms, out in the play areas, at camp and sailing, and alongside them at the many opportunities we look to offer during 2023.
Communication between Home and School is a key driver in ensuring we can do the best by all children. Please do inform your child's teacher if there is anything that we need to be aware of. I also ask that you do read the communication that comes from teachers and myself to ensure that your child is informed and well prepared for the challenges and opportunities that await them here at Cotswold Mātāhae.
Our first opportunity for information sharing this year is our Meet the Teacher interviews planned for Monday 31st January. Thanks to all of our parents who have filled out the following two forms:-

Our Year 6 pupils will be no doubt excited about Year 6 Camp at Waipara which is quickly approaching during Week 3. Additional information will be coming home during Week 1-2. Parent contributions are requested by Friday 3rd February to assist with camp costs including transport, accommodation, meals, activities and resources.
