Kia ora koutou

A special welcome to the following students who have joined the Cotswold Learning Community in recent weeks:

  • Kayson Jones
  • Makahni Teariki-Agaali'i
  • Mirabai Gillman
  • Lucas Gillman
  • Emma Townsend

Welcome to Karen Dow who has joined our Learning Support Team and to Karen Bartosh who is helping us scan and store our historical records .

Thank you to parents for attending Student Led Conferences last week and giving students an opportunity to share with you their growth as a learner.

A number of parents will be aware that Sam Baines was teaching children in Room 20 earlier this year.  Sam suffered a serious medical event during Term 1 which meant he was unable to teach during Term 2. The seriousness of his condition has meant that he has decided he needs to focus on his health for the rest of the year and he has resigned from his position.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sam for the work he has done with our children and wish him a speedy and full recovery.

We close for the school holidays on Friday 6 July, 2018 at 3.00pm after a very busy Term.  Thank you to all parents who have assisted us with class trips and visits, sport, fundraising activities and returning books for the classroom teacher. Your support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

Ngā mihi
