Oscar had an amazing experience over the holidays getting to attend a Barca Academy Training Camp

During the school holidays Oscar (Rm 18) flew up to Wellington to attend the Barca Academy training camp for one week. He had a great time learning different skills and the Barca way of training. 

At the end of the week they gave out a certificate for all children involved and 6 children (out of around 80) were awarded a special medal for showing the Barca values (humility, effort, ambition, respect and teamwork) consistently through out the week and Oscar was one of them! 

The coaches were also scouting talent during this training session. They had another camp in Auckland the following week then after that we got a phone call from the Barca Academy inviting Oscar to Barcelona to attend a prestigious Barca Academy Clinic in November/December 2025. 

Only a select number of children from the training camp have been invited from New Zealand - the Barca Academy are currently holding their training camps in Australia and the children chosen will also head to Spain with the New Zealand kids. 

We are incredibly proud of his achievements and Oscar and his family are looking forward to their trip to Barcelona!
