2025/2026 Enrolments
Have we received your child's enrolment form for 2025/2026?
The Ministry of Education has rebuilt our school to cater for up to 500 students. Our peak roll was 583 in 2018, 543 in 2019, 554 in 2020 and 560 in 2021 - all well above our rebuild capacity. To date we have been able to manage this by using Board owned classrooms but this is becoming increasingly difficult and we need your help.
If you have a preschool child who you plan to enrol at Cotswold Mātāhae School during 2025/2026 we need you to complete an enrolment form. This is critical if you live outside our school zone and already have a child enrolled at our school as we need to make allowance for these students in our annual ballot.
Siblings of current students who reside outside our school zone aren’t automatically entitled to enrol at our school. They need to apply following the same pre-enrolment processes as any other out-of-zone student, with their application accepted. We need to hear from you now. This is crucial given we are dealing with an increasing number of in-zone enrolments this year that has already pushed our predicted peak roll for 2022 to 575 students. Failure to do this will mean your child's name will need to be added to the relevant ballot for entry to school.
An enrolment form is attached to the bottom of this article or call at the school office to collect an enrolment pack.
