Year 5/6 Swimming Sports

On 21st February our Year 5/6 students are heading to Jellie Park 9.30 - 12.30pm.    Permission forms and entry forms will come home by the end of the week.

Parents helpers will be needed for marshalling, timing and supervision on the bus at the the pool.    Please indicate on the permission form if you can help or email peter.harper@cotswold.school.nz

Year 5/6 Hagley Sport

Hagley Sport is starting on the 24th February.   We would love for all our students who signed up to participate and to do this WE NEED parents and coaches for all codes entered:- Touch / Futsal / Teeball / Ultimate Frisbee.  Parents will need to travel by bus to the sports venues, and coach or manage teams each Friday.    Please email  peter.harper@cotswold.school.nz  if you can assist.

NB:  we desperately need to confirm final numbers of parent helpers prior to 10th February so teams can be finalised prior to Mr Harper and the Year 6s heading off to Camp.

Nunweek Touch is back for Term 1!

Fantastic to see all 12 of our Cotswold Touch Teams down at Nunweek Park on Tuesday evening showing their Cotswold values !

Thanks to the coaches and managers for giving their time each week, and to the sideline supporters for cheering on our teams.

Year 5 and 6 Mini Polo

A notice went home today, if your child is interested in playing mini polo (water polo) this Term, please see Mrs Sandford in Room 25. There are free 'have a go' sessions that you can attend to see if it is a sport that you might like to be involved in (details are on the notice). If you love swimming and being in the water we would love you to be part of one of our Cotswold Mātāhae Mini Polo Teams.

Cotswold Colts invited to play at Breakers Game

The Cotswold Colts were thrilled to be invited to play in the curtain raiser against the Merrin Magic over the holiday period. They lost by one goal in the final seconds of the game, but loved the experience of meeting the players and mascots, being the “fan tunnel” as the players ran onto the court, and playing basketball in front of a sold out crowd.

Thanks to Mr Harper for organising this unforgettable experience for the boys.
