CPSSA Triathlon
A big 'Way 2 Go' to the Cotswold Triathletes who braved wet and chilly conditions in this years CPSSA Triathlon at Pegasus Town. Adam Hickling, Joel Buchanan, William Sandford, Briar Chamberlain, Nicola McLachlan, Estelle Lin, Jemma Creed and Nova Gainsford can all be proud of their efforts. Special thanks to the staff and parents who supported this event.
North-West Zone Athletics Sports
Well done to all the children who represented the school at the North-West Zone Athletic Sports. You can all be proud of your efforts.

Summer Hockey and Checkers Mini Basketball
Well done to all our Summer Hockey and Y3 – 4 Basketball players who have been involved in Summer Hockey at Nunweek Park and Basketball at Bishopdale YMCA. Your lively and busy efforts during game time have been pleasing to see. Special thanks to the coaches of our teams.
Super Star Cricket
Nice 1 to all the children involved in this competition. Special congratulations to Cotswold A and Cotswold B who have qualified for this year’s Super Star Cricket finals.

Sport 2019
Year 2,3, 4 and 5 children interested in playing sport for school in Term 1, 2018, have been issued registration forms. Return this form to Mr Peter Harper, Room 24 or place in his ‘in-tray’ in the school office by Friday, 7th December, 2018
Sports include:
- Year 5 – 6 Weekly Summer Sport (Rippa, Teeball, Futsal and Ultimate Frisbee)
- Year 5 – 6 Cricket Girls
- Year 3 – 4 Mini Basketball at the Bishopdale YMCA

Registration forms have been issued to Yr 4-5 children during Term 4, 2018 should have been returned to your child’s class teacher.

Sailing and Water Activities 2019
These two exciting Outdoor Education activities take place during Term 1, 2018:
Sailing and Water Activities - Lake Rua – 13th and 14th February (p/p 15 February)
Tax Invoices, Consent Forms and Information has been issued to Year 3 students this Term and should have been returned to your child’s class teacher by Friday 7th December, 2018.
The total cost for these activities is $65 and must be paid by Friday 14th December 2018. Parent support is required.
Year 4 Beach Ed 2019
This exciting Outdoor Education activity takes place during Term 1, 2019:
Beach Ed – Waikuku Beach – 8th and 15th February
Tax Invoices, registration forms have been issued to Yr 4 children during Term 4, 2018 and should have been returned to your child’s class teacher by Friday 7th December.
The total cost for this activity is $14 and must be paid by Friday 14th December . Parent support is required.

Weet-Bix Tryathlon 2019
Christchurch , Jellie Park, Burnside, Sunday, 24 February 2019
The Weet-Bix Tryathlon is the largest kids sporting event in the world. The event encourages Kiwi Kids of all sporting abilities, aged between 7 and 15, to get out and Give it a go. Kids can enter either as an individual or as part of a team. A big ‘THANKS’ to Mrs Terry who is organizing the Cotswold School Group.
