Ice Skate Discos are coming to Cotswold

Marie Bianco —

To celebrate the end of Matariki we are excited to announce that Skate Discos are coming to Cotswold School!

This is an amazing opportunity for our school community to come along and experience ice skating with their family and friends.

We are having an ice rink installed in our hall during the last week of Term, and will be holding discos from 5pm on the evenings of Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th July.  Be prepared for a cool but not cold Disco Ice Skating experience.

The Ice Skate Tour travels around New Zealand with state of the art, artificial ice rinks. They look like ice and have 97% same gliding capacity as natural ice. Surrounded by an inflatable boarding and helmets + gloves provided at no charge (both compulsory for kids) it’s the safest possible way to try ice skating.

Children are being given the opportunity to Learn to Skate with their class during the day, and can then come along with their friends and family during the evening to show off their new skating skills.

For more information and to book tickets check out the link: https://www.trybooking.co.nz/JYA

NB. Tickets are limited to 150 people per night and each session is 30-40 minutes of skating.  Tickets for Discos can only be made via the booking system not via the school.
