A huge congratulations to all the children that participated in the Junior Athletics Day.  You all did an outstanding job for your house teams displaying perseverance, team spirit and a positive attitude.

Zone Swimming Sports 

Good luck to the Zone Swimming Sports Team heading off to the competition tomorrow, Friday 15th March -  results in the next Pānui.   Special thanks to Coach Noon and ex-Cotswold Coach Livingstone. 

Thanks also to the parents who have supported the team at training sessions.

Nunweek and Kotiro Ataahua Girls Touch Updates

 Well done to the senior teams who who played their final game for the season last Tuesday night. 

Congratulations to the Cotswold Pacers who finished 3rd overall in the Nunweek Touch Competition (Term 4 2023 - Term 1 2024)

Well done to the Smurfettes who played their final game in the Kotiro Ataahua Girls Touch Competition.

Coaches / Managers are encouraged to send a team photo and short report if you would like these included in our fortnightly Pānui. 

Uniform Returns

A reminder that gear bags and team shirts need to be returned to Mr Harper via the School Office as soon as possible.   These will be need re-issued for Winter Sport.

Term 2 Winter Sport Registrations via Hero App

Registrations for Year 5/6 YMCA (now known as the "Kind Foundation") Basketball and  Year 3-6 Future Ferns Netball were sent out via the Hero App on Thursday 7th March.    

Registrations for Year 5-6 Winter Hagley were sent our via the Hero App today, 14th March. 

Parents/Caregivers Volunteers will be needed to coach and manage teams as we are unable to register teams without a coach allocated to the team. Please contact Peter Harper by email peter.harper@cotswold.school.nz to indicate if you would be prepared to act as a Coach / Manager for one of the teams.

Registrations via the Hero App close on Friday 5th April to allow time for Mr Harper to organise the teams, and register them with the CPSSA over the holidays. Late registrations will not be accepted.

Bus transport cost will be confirmed once numbers have been finalised and you will receive an invoice via the Hero App. Please do not pay on registration, wait for the invoice to appear in your Hero account as regrettably some years children have missed out.

Term 2 Registrations for Year 3-6 Mini Polo will be coming out shortly.

Summer Sports Term 1 Dates

  • Checkers Mini Ball began 29th February (Bishopdale YMCA)
  • Nunweek Touch resumed Tuesday 30th January 2024 and runs until 27th February 2024.
  • Kōtiro Ātaahua Girls Touch Touch resumed Monday 12th February and runs until 4th March 2024.
  • Nunweek Summer Hockey – resumed on Monday 12th February and runs until 18th March.
