Parents Association February Update

Welcome back! It's hard to believe we are almost halfway through Term one.  Last Tuesday, we held our first Parents' Association meeting of the year.

Here are some things we're working on:-

Notice of the Annual General Meeting

On Tuesday, 29th April, we will hold our Annual General meeting in the Staff Room at 7.30 p.m.

From 7pm, please come along and join us for drinks and nibbles with our amazing volunteers, have a relaxing chat and see what we do for the students.

We have a few of our amazing parent volunteers who will be moving on at the end of this year, and we need some new parents to come along and get involved for our kids.

Non-Uniform Day and Easter Raffle

It’s back! The biggest Parents Association Fundraiser of the year. 

We previously used these fundraisers to purchase things like picnic tables, drinking fountains, class iPads and lots more. This is our major fundraiser of the year.

Raffle forms will be sent home the week of March 17th; keep an eye out for them in your child’s bag/reading folder (one per family).

A non-uniform day will be held on Thursday, the 3rd of April, and donations of Easter items, such as chocolates, biscuits, etc., will be greatly appreciated. There will be collectors at the school gates before school, or you can bring your item to the office at any time prior.

Winners will be announced the week of the 7th of April, and the prize handout will be 9/10th April, just in time for Easter holidays.

Second-Hand Uniform Sale

Thursday, 10th April, 8:30 am outside school hall, cash sales only most items only $5.00. Please bring any uniform donations you may have to the school office prior. You’re donations are very much appreciated.

Disco – Term Two

We are hoping to run a disco for Term two, however, we do need new helpers to learn how to plan the disco. The discos are purely run by our Parents’ Association volunteers, so please get in touch or come along to one of our meetings to learn more so we can continue to run these fun events for the students.

Second Hand Uniform Sale

Thank you to Charlotte and the amazing Parents Association volunteers who run regular uniform sales.

The date of the next Uniform Sale will be held on Thursday 10th April (Week 10). 8.30 - 9.45am outside the Hall.

Most items are only $5 (excluding merinos and jackets).

Cash only no EFTPOS available.

Second hand uniform items can be purchased from the School Office at any time. Samples of the house tshirts, bag and beanies are also available to view.

We are still needing donations of uniform items in good condition. Please drop clean items you wish to donate into the School Office.
