End of Financial Year Tax Receipts are now available to download via Hero App.

Parents/Caregivers are entitled to claim 33.33 cents for every dollar you donate to schools and other approved organisations.

This year tax receipts will not be printed as they are now available for parents/caregivers to download via the Hero App.

Instructions on how to downland receipts are below:

HOW A CAREGIVER WILL PRINT A TAX DONATION RECEIPT VIA HERO APP

1. The caregiver will log into Hero via a web browser.

Note: Receipts cannot be printed from the Hero Mobile App

2. The caregiver will select FINANCE from the menu to view the statement of the students they have finance access to view

3. The caregiver will click VIEW ALL PAYMENTS

4. The caregiver will click VIEW DONATION RECEIPTS.

5. The caregiver will click the Tax Receipt button for the year they require. This will download as a protected (uneditable) Word document.

The Board has set the 2023 school donation at $150.00 per child to a maximum of 3 children – i.e. $150.00 for one child, $300.00 for two children and $450.00 for three or more children.

During 2023 we used the money received from the school donation to provide additional learning support programmes for all our students.  This has had a very positive impact on student achievement. We will continue to use the money received from donations during the 2023 school year to provide additional learning support for our students. This will include both book and people resources.

While school donations are not compulsory, we do appreciate the commitment made to our school by a large number of our parents who make the requested donation. We also appreciate and acknowledge a number of donations made by parents over and above that requested and for special school activities like camps and swimming.
