Donation Tax Refunds
Thank you to the families who have paid their 2024 School Donation of $150 which assists our school with extra funding to support learning assistants, as well as purchase teaching and learning resources.
A Tax refund can be claimed on these donations at 33.33 cents for every dollar donated. To be able to claim this refund this year the donation will need to be made to the school by 31 March 2024. Tax Donation Receipts will be available to download on Hero from early April 2024.
Tax receipts will not be printed as they are available for parents to download via the Hero App. The instructions for this are as follows:-
- The caregiver will log into Hero via a web browser.
- Select FINANCE from the menu to view that statement of the students they have finance access to view
- Select VIEW ALL PAYMENTS
- Click VIEW DONATION RECEIPTS
- Click the Tax Receipt button for the year required. This will download as a protected (un-editable) Word Document

If your child's Hero account is currently in credit and you would like these payments to be allocated towards the school donation please email Chris McShane. She will then allocate the payment(s) to enable you to claim your refund.
