Whooping Cough - Parent Information

We are seeing an increase of pertussis/whooping cough nationally.

The key messages are as follow:-

• Ensure children and staff are up-to-date with their  DTap vaccination, particularly for under one or pregnant people in the last 3 weeks of pregnancy.

• If anyone has developed symptoms of whooping cough, they will need to visit their GP to arrange a swab test and treatment (depending on their date of onset).
